'Bigg Boss 3' title winner Mugen Rao's father Prakash Rao passed away in their hometown Malaysia after suffering a massive heart attack at 6.30 pm on Monday.  The last rites will be held today according to the family members.  Mugen's co-contestants took to social media to offer their condolences.

Mugen Rao is an independent musician and is said to be devastated by the loss as his father was the one who encouraged him in his chosen field and was the inspiration for him to be himself and win the title of the show as well.  Vanitha Vijayakumar has condoled her ex-housemate "RIP... condolences to your family..very sorry to hear your loss ...death in the family changes your entire life..be strong". Abhirami Venkatachalam has written "Rip Prakash Rao... Stay Strong Baby MugenRao".
