One of the biggest sports biopic, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ was based on the life of our own Indian Cricketer and former Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It was not only an amazing hit in the film industry but also was a great game-changing turn in Sushant Singh Rajput's career who was featured as the “Captain Cool” in the film.

According to a report, the sequel of ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ will be bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP films and is expected to go on the floors in 2019. And adding more flavor to it, there is another surprising element for everyone. Guess what! Sushant will be seen essaying Dhoni’s role in the sequel. Super happy?

The sequel will be based on the amazing journey of the various wins at the T20s as well as the coveted win of the 2015 ICC World Cup and his personal life including the birth of his little munchkin Ziva. A source stated,"There is the [Dhoni-led Chennai'] thrilling win against Bangalore at the T20 [this year, that can be depicted in the film]. Apart from that, India's steady run, up to the semi-finals, at the 2015 World Cup will find a place in the narrative." The source further added that Dhoni will have a fair involvement in the sequel as well especially during the scripting process.

Meanwhile, on the work front, SSR will soon be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’ opposite to debutante Sara Ali Khan. It is all about the Uttarakhand flash flood incident that is all set to hit the screens in November this year.
