Renowned cricketer and the coolest captain MS Dhoni celebrated his 35th birthday on July 7, more than the fans the makers of 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' made the day special for him by revealing the first official poster from the movie. Yes! You heard it right".
Fans of M.S Dhoni had a special birthday surprise for their favourite icon. On 7th July - the day of Dhoni's birthday - all his fans got into action by exclusively revealing the first official poster of the film M S Dhoni The Untold Story' it is the official biopic of the Indian cricket captain. In an unique and innovative move, Fox Star Studios passed on the baton of launching the first official poster of the film to the many fan clubs of M S Dhoni that exist online. It was for the first time in the history of Bollywood, we saw the proactive involvement of fans in promoting a film and launching a major film asset.
All the fan clubs of M.S. Dhoni and additionally of Sushant Singh Rajput , who plays the title role came together to reveal the poster of the film at 2 pm on 7th July. It was only after all the major fan clubs revealed the poster on their profiles, did the studio and the talent put the poster out from their official accounts. The fan clubs thus became the official endorsers of the film, and got involved with the promotion of the movie from the very outset. Post the poster launch, in another unique engagement activity, fans were asked to share the poster on their social media profiles and also send in their birthday greetings for M S Dhoni in the form of a short video. The best entries chosen would be included as a short montage in the actual end credits of the film. This gives fans a unique chance to send in their messages for Dhoni - and get it captured forever.
