Indian pacer Mohammed Shami is frequenting the news for all the wrong reasons after his wife Hasin Jahan accused him of cheating and having illicit affairs. Even after Shami refuted the claims, his name was taken off the pay contract list by the BCCI.

While the matter is still an ongoing controversy, India’s former skipper MS Dhoni has come forward to the support of the UP born bowler. Stating that Shami was a great human, Dhoni opined that Shami couldn’t have cheated his wife and country. “This is Shami’s personal matter and we should not make any comment on it,” he said.

It is also worth mentioning here that Shami’s father-in-law and Hasin Jahan’s father had only nice things to say about the cricketer. “Shami was a good person. He speaks less. We had no doubts about him. Only God knows how things have turned ugly,” he said.
