Movies based on armed forces of India are in trend these days. We have seen multiple movies based on or inspired by bravery of our troops and several are in production as well. One such upcoming war movie is 'Pippa'. Set around the backdrop of Bangladesh Liberation War, 'Pippa' stars Ishaan Khattar, Priyanshu Painyuli, Mrunal Thakur and Soni Razdan among others. Mrunal recently wrapped up her part of the shoot and she shared what she learned from it.

Mrunal said, “‘Pippa’ has shown me such a great time and enriched me as an actor. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the era as part of my prep. It is an honour to be part of a film that depicts an Indian victory by making it personal. The experience of working with Raja Krishna Menon, Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and the entire cast was fantastic.”

'Pippa' is a real story based on the book by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta titled 'The Burning Chafees'. Ishaan Khattar will play the role of Brigadier Mehta while Priyanshu Painyuli will play his brother.
