Adivi Sesh's passion project, Dacoit, a mega pan-India action drama, has been mounted to be an adrenaline-pumping experience at the cinema. Earlier, Shruthi Haasan was on board to play the female lead. Now, the makers roped in Mrunal Thakur as a replacement since Shruthi left the movie.
Directed by Shaneil Deo, who marks his directorial debut, this ambitious project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. The movie is being made as a bilingual film in Telugu and Hindi.
The film is being shot in Hyderabad, followed by an extensive schedule in Maharashtra. The team officially welcomed Mrunal Thakur on board for the film. The team dubbed it as a story with action, emotion, and drama - between two former lovers.
Two new posters featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur have been released to confirm the new development.
Shaneil Deo is directing the film along with penning the story and screenplay with Adivi Sesh. Supriya Yarlagadda is the producer of the film while Suniel Narang co-produces it. Annapurna Studios presents the film.
