An instant noodle super hero from the Bhatts... having Emraan Hashmi as the only bright spot, but even he with all his natural (his own) and supernatural powers (given in the film including the kisses)can't save this laughable super hero action romantic thriller.. 'Mr.X' is a ‘choomantar’ of logics even by the standards of a comic book requiring a suspension of disbelief beyond limits.

Raghuram Rathod (Emraan Hashmi) and Milli Arora (Amyra Dastur) are lovers and ATS officers. A betrayal turns the tables on both of them. Raghuram  is wronged, he becomes invisible but his kissing abilities are unharmed, he takes revenge from his enemies. Clap clap..this must be planned in a snap.

Almost every department over here seems to be taken the medicine Hashmi takes in the film to tackily disappear.. this Kiss-ah-eh- gayab hashmi is hard to believe.. a burnt Raghu is taken to a chemical laboratory by Poppo ( AIB roast fame Tanmay Bhatt - now make a roast on him for doing this ) takes him to a chemical laboratory where Poppo’s sister gives him something in blue to drink and guess what happens Raghu begins to disappear in bits and pieces.. but what follows is a weird explanation by the sister about the transformation by saying its something like a infrared, ultra violet radiation, cellular regeneration, which can make Raghu visible in direct sunlight, blue light at his will.

Raghu begins his revenge but his pyaar Milli becomes the deewar so its love v/s duty.. the couple who were about to exchange the shaadi ki angooti a couple of reels back are against each other and amazingly Raghu has remarkably maintained that ‘khusboo’ (body odor) after being burnt like a charcoal..

Neither the script, nor the special effects are able to hold things together the 3D fails to reduce the torture.

The idea might be to have a Bhatt factory romantic musical thriller with a twist of special effect and super power thrown in for global reach but sadly Vikram Bhatt in his fading ilk makes a caricature of his own genre plus the super hero thingie..

To be fair.. the music is passable. Emraan Hashmi tries hard in a feebly written role, Amrya Dastur looks pretty and does not disappoint. Arunoday Singh is fine..

Ironically 'Mr.X' can enjoy an afterlife on video/DVD where viewers can fast forward, rewind for fun and offer their version with alternate dialogues.
