'Mr. X': Graphic novels, games to take Emraan Hashmi's Mr. X story forward

Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Mr.X' will be a franchise. And the Bhatts are planning to release a series of graphic novels and mobile games that will take the story of the forward after the film's release on April 17. This is a marketing strategy from Fox Star Studios and the Bhatts to build the franchise before a sequel is announced for 'Mr.X'. These novels and games will give more information about 'Mr.X', his friends and his powers of invisibility.

Confirming the development, Mahesh Bhatt says, "Yes, it is true that we have a franchise plan with the film. A lot has been lined up, and we will unveil our plans one step at a time." Emraan Hashmi plays a person who is forced to become a vigilante after he was tried to be murdered. A good cop, Emraan gets entangled into a treacherous scheme and is left to die in a chemical factory by people who blow it up with the intention to kill him. However, as fate would have it, the chemicals in the factory does not kill him but cause a reaction that turns Emraan invisible! He decides to take revenge on those who are not only responsible for his state but are also hatching a devious, evil plan. He becomes the man who is not afraid to break the law because he wants to protect it. Also starring the gorgeous Amyra Dastur, the film has everything that an Emraan Hashmi blockbuster would have - great songs, a sizzling new pairing and not to forget the serial kisser is doing what he does best and that too when invisible!

'Mr.X', produced by Vishesh Films and presented by Fox Star Studios, releases in 2D and 3D on April 17th.
