'Mr. Majnu', Akkineni Akhil's 3rd outing, will hit the screens sometime in January next. An official announcement regarding this has been made on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.

Directed by Venky Atluri ('Tholi Prema' fame), the rom-com has been produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP's BVSN Prasad. Shot, among other locations, in London, the film has Nidhi Aggerwal of the recent 'Savyasachi' as the heroine.

Naga Babu, Priyadarshi, Jayaprakash, and Hyper Adhi are part of the cast.

Music director SS Thaman says, "Can’t wait for this guys! Happy Diwali wishes from team 'Mr. Majnu'. Let’s rock the theatres in 2019 Jan! The sound you all looking for is all set." Lyrics are by Srimani. George C Williams, whose work in the Teaser is telling, is working on the film. Naveen Nooli is the editor. Avinash Kolla is the art director. Choreography is by Sekhar. Additional story and chief associate direction are by Satish Chandra.
