After last year's Seemaraja directed by Ponram, Siva Karthikeyan has joined hands with comedy expert Rajesh.M for the first time and paired with lady superstar Nayanthara after Velaikaran, in Mr.Local, produced by Studio Green.

The teaser of Mr.Local is out, and  from what's presented in the teaser, the movie revolves around Manohar(Siva Karthikeyan), fondly called Mr.Local in his area, and Keerthana (Nayanthara), an entrepreneur. The boy next door, happy go lucky Manohar and the arrogant and bold Keerthana Cross paths, and from the beginner they're at loggerheads. Was Manohar able to get Keerthana grounded from her adamant, self centred attitude and make her fall for his charm is what Mr.Local is all about.

Mr. Local has music by Hip Hop Thamizha, and cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan, and is shot colorfully in exotic locations like Azerbaijan. With the premise reminding us of yesteryear blockbuster Mannan starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Vijayashanthi, Mr.Local promises loads of entertainment with comedy and romance in equal proportions, ably supported by Yogi Babu and Satish, and let's see if Siva Karthikeyan can hit the Bullseye with the movie releasing on May 1!
