Junior SVR is ready to make his debut this May. Mr. 7 (Veedu Evariki Dorakudu) is the title of his new movie. Directed by Charan Reddy (a disciple of Kodandarami Reddy), the movie is being produced on SVR Cine Corp.

Today is the birthday of SVR Jr. At a press briefing organised to announce the title, the director said that the script was written over a period of two years. I thank the hero for keeping faith in me. We are done with the shoot except the songs. We are planning for a May release.

SVR Jr said that he had drawn lessons from senior artists while working for the movie. I am glad to announce the title. I think it was because of number 7 in the title that Yedukondala Venkateswara Swamy saved me from a life-threatening accident. I will try to achieve at least 5 per cent of what my grandfather achieved, he said.

Veteran actor Chalapathi Rao said that NTR and SVR used to act with a competitive spirit. He said that he had always been wanting to act with a descendant of SVR, just as he has shared screen space with NTR's descendants. Actor AVS echoed Rao’s views.

Mr. 7 has Neelam Upadhyaya as the female lead. Srinivasa Reddy, MS, Gundu Hanumantha Rao and others are part of the film.
