Teacher arrested after ramming car into school children

Eight students of a primary school in Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni district have been injured after a teacher lost control over his car and rammed it into the students during their lunch break on Saturday.
The incident happened at the Jurtara government primary school in the district’s Bandol area after the teacher, identified Krishna Kumar, hit the accelerator of his car instead of the brake which hit the utensils at the dining area and two students. A few students also sustained severe injuries when the utensils and the hot food fell over them. They were rushed to a nearby hospital soon after.
Whether or not the condition of the students is stable is yet to be known. The teacher has been arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
