Dileep's latest movie with Lal Jose 'Mulla' which is planned to be on theatres by this Vishu season has completed its shooting at Palakkad. The film which comes after his recent lengthy flop list must propel into a big hit for Dileep to maintain his star stature. Mammotty’s Vishu release ‘Annan Thampi’ is fast progressing at Pollachi. The movie which feature the super star in double roles as a henchman of a mafia and as a dumb ballet artist tells a humorous story. Directed by Anwar Rasheed, the film is in the scripts of Benny P Nayarambalam.

Meanwhile Mohanlal will have his new film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad for this Vishu. This not yet titled film has Meera Jasmine, Sukanya, Mohini and Muthumani as the heroines. Mohanlal is playing the role of an exporter, who keeps a point in maintaining healthy relations with all around him. The film with inspiring music from Ilayaraja will grace the theatres on April 4.

The other films which are in production include Balalchandramenon's ‘De Ingottu Nokkiye'. Featuring Jagathy Sreekumar in the lead, the movie also has Jayasuriya and a new heroine Sara. The flick will get completed with a shoot of another couple of weeks.

Indrajith's new venture ‘Malabar Wedding' directed by Duo Rajesh Faisal is fast progressing at Alathoor. The film has Gopika as the heroine. Another director duo Anish- Santhosh is continuing with the shoot of their Suresh Gopi starrer 'Kavyam' featuring Navya Nair in the female lead.

Kalabhavan Mani's 'Swarnam' will get completed by the end of this week. Another movie that will say its final pack up this week is Anil's ‘Paarthan Kanda Paralokam', which features Jayaram, Mukesh, Sreedevika and Sona.
