Nikhil Siddhartha has on Saturday opined that visiting theatres is safe provided proper precautions are taken. The 'Arjun Suravaram' actor shared covid data and said that the number of new cases has come down week after week in the last few weeks despite theatres running to packed houses in the Telugu States (and also in Tamil Nadu).
"Movie theatres opened up nearly a month back and there is no increase or spike in the number of COVID infections. In fact, the number of COVID cases has been dropping even more..Goes to show movie theatres are safe to visit as long as precautions are taken," the 'Kartikeya' actor wrote.
The actor's comments come a day after the Telangana government enhanced the seating capacity of cinemas and multiplexes to 100%.
Chandoo Mondeti's ‘Karthikeya 2’, ‘18 Pages' and a film with Asian Cinemas are his upcoming outings.
