Producer CV Kumar has been one of the versatile producers of Tamil film industry, known for launching some of the best young talents in the industry like Nalan Kumarasamy, Pa Ranjith, Karthik Subbaraj etc and producing movies such as Pizza, Soodhu Kavvum, Attakathi.

Besides production, CV Kumar has also ventured into direction and made his debut with Mayavan starring Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi and next directed Gangs of Madras starring Priyanka Ruth. Now, the producer has announced an exciting new venture.

CV Kumar has announced the launch of a new movies app named Regal Talkies which will be a pay per view app which will be streaming quality movies and will have new movies premiering as well. The launch date of Regal Talkies and the movies to be premiered on the app are expected to be announced soon.
