Movie slots open - anyone interested?

  • IndiaGlitz, [Saturday,September 02 2006]

By now everyone is aware about September being a stuffed month with multiple releases planned every week.

Compare this with the month of October and there are only 2 confirmed releases so far - 'Don - The Chase Begins Again' and 'Jaan-E-Mann'. 'Umrao Jaan' seems highly unlikely now, especially with both the above mentioned films on a theatre booking rampage. Also JP Dutta has not even begun promoting his film.

On the other hand there are films like 'Bhoot Unkle', 'Jackpot - The Money Game', 'Sanam Teri Kasam' and 'Zamaanat' that have come up with a release date for the umpteenth time but except for 'Bhoot Unkle', none seem to be en route to really arriving on the screens. This leaves only 2 films for the entire month of October. Wow!

With no film really daring to arrive a week before or after the two biggies, the slots are really vacant for some small time films to arrive in October. Anyone interested?
