Since the world cup cricket is starting this next week, Tollywood film makers want to release their films before the cricket fever gets to its peak.

On 18th of this month, Ramgopal Varma's 'Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam-Appalraju' is releasing with a great positive buzz. The movie has high expectations on it since it is Varma's straight Telugu film after almost a decade and also since it is a cinema on Telugu cinema industry.

On the same day, Gautam Menon's Tamil to Telugu dubbed film 'Erra Gulabeelu' is releasing in the state.It stars Sameera Reddy and Samantha. '

LBW-Life before wedding a quirky film made on shoe string budget is also releasing on 18th.

A week later, Allari Naresh's first release this year, 'Aaha Naa Pellanta' will be in theatres on 25th.It will compete with Sai Kumar's son Aadi's Prema Kavali and Varun Sandesh's love entertainer 'Kudurithey Kappu Coffee'.

This year has been so far lucky for Tollywood. Raviteja's Mirapakaya, Sumanth's Golconda High School, Nani's Ala Modalaindi were declared hits last month.Amongst the latest releases, Gaganam is running housefull in A centres and Vastadu Naa Raju will supposedly get its money back though it is not a hit.

It is yet to be seen which amongst the upcoming releases will do well at the box office.
