The main unit members of Pilla Jamindar turned up for the platinum disc release event only to thank the audience for making their film a hit. Nani minced no words when he said that Pilla Jamindar was such a hit because of positive mouth talk. "The audience have proved that good films will always be patronised. Those who have watched the movie are universally saying that our film has mixed entertainment and values in right fashion."

The presenter, DS Rao said that Pilla Jamindar is doing well despite a lot of competition from other films. He said that a dubbed film could not have any impact on the collections of PJ. The film is doing brisk business, he said.

The director, Ashok attributed the success to the audience. He thanked the hero for agreeing to do the film.
