Director Santhakumar had made an impressive debut way back in 2011 with the crime drama Mouna Guru, starring Arulnidhi, John Vijay, Uma Riaz, Ineya and the movie which had music by S Thaman, went on to receive critical acclaim and was a sleeper hit.

Almost 8 years later, Santhakumar is all set to return with his next, again an interesting crime drama, titled Magamuni starring Arya, Indhuja and Mahima Nambiar. The first look and teaser of Magamuni were released recently and were received well, raising the expectations on the movie.

While Magamuni which is produced by Studio Green, is expected to release in July, here's an information on the director's next venture. In a recent interview, Santhakumar had revealed that his next movie will also be produced by Studio Green and that the details on this project will be revealed soon.
