Passing a few legal troubles, actor Raghava Lawrence's 'Motta Siva Ketta Siva' released on Thursday (March 9) and the film stirred up a controversy due to the 'Makkal Superstar' moniker given to its lead actor.
As soon as he came to know about this, Lawrence promptly rejected the 'Makkalin Superstar' title and said that was carried in the film's title card without his knowledge. The multi-talented 'Kanchana' actor also reiterated that Rajinikanth is the one and only Superstar forever
Now Sai Ramani, the director of 'MSKS' has apologized for the entire fiasco. In a statement he has said "I had given the title 'Makkal Superstar' to our hero Raghava Lawrence, as an acknowledgment for his good deeds and humanitarian attitude. But he did not relish it. He immediately called me and condemned me for adding this title to his name. He also announced to the press and media, that he does not want this title because Superstar Rajinikanth is the one and only Superstar "
Sai Ramani also announced that the 'Makkal Superstar' title will be removed from the title card of the film and requested the audience to bear it till it is removed as the process will take sometime.
