The events preceding Bangaram are so dramatic that one day some enterprising director can make a film out of it.

The film starring the beleaguered Pawan Kalyan and to be directed by Dharani (from Tamil) was to have started a couple of months back itself. Firstly, Pawan had an operation and then he was said to be not happy with the script.

Then they said the producer, A M Rathnam, was no longer interested in the project and hence dropped it. Eventually it turned out to be incorrect.

Then the media was fed with the story that the Tarzan girl Ayesha Takia was to play the female lead in the film. Every publication and news site (including IndiaGlitz) carried the news item.

Now it turns that Ayesha may not be in the project itself. The reason? "Date problems", that is what the production team says.

Many other famous heroines have also been approached. But they also could not be roped in for one reason or the other. Some Mumbai girls are now being sought out for the film now.

Any way, the news is that Bangaram will begin on 11 May and Pawan seems to have been happy with the changes that director Dharani has come up with. Vidyasagar is most likely to score the tunes (Pawan had some reservations on him too).

The film is love cum action one with lots of fun thrown in between. Every thing looks ready for Bangaram ---unless there are more twists in the tale.
