Actor Silambarsasan's Beep song controversy is still raging hot. The Tamil Nadu Police department is searching for him as the Madras High Court has refused to stay his arrest based on the complaints filed against the controversial song.

While the general mood of the public is against Silambarasan for the song that contains explicit cuss words which have been beeped, Simbu found its supporters among youngsters especially after his claim that the song was for his private use and he did not intend to release it in public.

A section of those who criticise Simbu for the song also think whether it was a serious crime to warrant a police arrest. Reports that police department has formed special teams to nab the actor has also received criticism among social media users.

However, a top brass Police department official has defended the search operation. "Simbu should have appeared in person and explained his position as soon as complaints were registered against him. His failure to do so has forced to start searching him. If we search and find him, we will have to arrest him. He has not escaped to foreign countries. He may be living in southern districts of Tamil Nadu. We are planning to deploy more police personnel to nab him soon."

Meanwhile, the Police department has sent a requisition to the Youtube to find the identity of the person who uploaded the Beep song in its channel. The police is still awaiting a reply from Youtube.
