As the filmi viewers expect a lackluster onam this year with a very few releases, Malayalam cinema's Onam is going to be fought most on television screens than on big screens. The favorite hits in Malayalam of the last few years will make to television screens for all the Onam days. Around 20 super hits of the previews years are being shown in the four big channels this onam.

On 'Thiruonam'day Mammootty's mega hit comedy entertainer Rajamanickyam is being shown on Surya TV, while Asianet is telecasting Mohanlal's mega hit classic Udayananu Tharam, and Amritha TV is showing his super hit Vadukkamnathan!

Also on the day we can see Raapakal, Lion and Pathaka. The other films charted for this Onam are Lokanathan I A S, Udayon, Madhuchandralekha, Chandupottu and Ben Johnson.
