As announced earlier Ajith’s 55th film to be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon will be launched on April 9. Going by details revealed by sources close to the producer A.M.Ratnam who will bankroll this project has arranged for a special pooja in the Saibaba temple located near his home in Valsaravakkam on April 10. Ajith who has already visited the temple before the commencement of his earlier venture Arrambam with the same producer, is expected to take part in this pooja.

The first schedule of the film will reportedly begin in ECR and go on for one month. Sources reveal that another interesting addition to the star cast of the film will be actor Aadhi of Mirugam and Eeram fame is expected to don an important role that will have ample sequences to share with the lead character played by Ajith. The untitled flick will have Anushka as the heroine and music composer Harris Jeyaraj is likely to join hands with Gautham after a long gap.
