Recently the hit director Mani Ratnam was in news as his upcoming film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam has created waves due to its stat cast in the film. And ending all speculations the makers of the film released its first look.

The movie is being made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. The Tamil version as ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ while the Telugu version is titled as ‘Nawab’.

Apparently, the legendary filmmaker has pulled off a casting coup of sorts by The multi-starrer movie  will present an array of actors like Arvind Swamy, Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Arun Vijay, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jyothika and Aishwarya Rajesh for the lead role. And as per information, Vijay Sethupathi plays a cop in the movie while Arvind Swamy, Simbu and Arun Vijay play gangster brothers.

Meanwhile Malayalam actor Sarath Kumar has also bagged a role in the film.Sarath has achieved popularity after the film Angamaly Diaries.
