Moonamthaoral by debutant Prakash is the first Malayalam movie to be shot on HD camera and projected digitally. It brings a huge star cast including Jayaram, Vineeth, Indrajith and Jyothirmayi together.
Prakash has plans to release the movie through satellite in over 100 centres. Jayaram hopes that this movie to fetch him good results. Jyothirmayi, who took to Kollywood recently, returns to Malayalam.
Moonamathoraal is a suspense thriller. It is about a woman feeling the presence of a super natural element in the house.
Ousepachan's re-recording will be a major highlight in the film and is sure to draw audience to their seat-corners, says Prakash.
Says Prakash, the movie has shaped up very well. On shooting in HD format, he said it would help reduce the problem of piracy. Since filming is done in the digital format retakes will not be expensive.
Jayaram is also very confident that the movie, suffused with technology and technique, will give him the right impetus.
Jayaram, a compact actor, needs a big one.
