Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal
Three heroes, three heroines and three lands. This is how director Vasanth's forthcoming film 'Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal' can be defined in a nutshell. While Arjun, Cheran and Vimal play the male leads, Banu (of 'Thamirabharani' fame) and debutants Surveen and Lasini are the female leads. And the three landscapes that will be shown in the movie are Kurinji (mountain), Marudham (agriculture fields) and Neidhal (area surrounding the sea). The movie's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja "Yuvan has given completely new stuff for Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal and I can define it as post-modern music," says Vasanth. Giving details about the movie, he says, "As the title suggests, the film is about the love episodes in the lives of three different types of personalities." The director adds: "Arjun is getting younger every year I believe. While watching Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal, you can find on screen the same Arjun of Rythm. Such is his enthusiasm and youthfulness," adds Vasanth. Describing Cheran as a good actor, Vasanth says, "Not all directors are successful as actors. But Cheran is sure one. He has played a memorable role in MPMK" On Vimal, the director says, "Vimal is doing a comic character. Like how Nagesh performed hilarious roles in a serious manner, Vimal is making us laugh by keeping his face serious." Vasanth, the man behind meaningful movies like 'Aasai', 'Nerukku Ner' and 'Povellam Kettupar' adds that his latest outing will be different from his earlier ones. And we trust him, going by his past records. |
