Director and actor Sundar C has clarified recent rumors about a dispute between him and actress Nayanthara during the shooting of their film ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’. The film, directed by Sundar C and starring Nayanthara, is currently under production. Rumors surfaced claiming a clash between the two during filming, but neither had commented on it until now.
In a recent interview promoting his film ‘Gangers’, Sundar C addressed the controversy. When asked if there was a conflict with Nayanthara, he replied, “There’s no truth in that. I don’t know how such rumors started. The shoot is going on as planned.”
He explained that the team had originally planned to shoot in Pollachi, but due to schedules of ‘Gangs’, they began filming in Chennai instead. Sundar C also praised Nayanthara, calling her a highly dedicated actress. “If the shoot is delayed by even 30 minutes, I suggest she go to the caravan, but she insists on staying at the set unless there’s an official break or pack-up announced,” he said.
He added that it’s impossible to respond to every rumor that spreads and emphasized that there is no truth to the reports of a dispute between him and Nayanthara.
