The Mallikanjali creations maiden Kannada film 'Ms California' film songs have been beautifully tuned by Dr.Ravi Dattatreya a non resident Indian. The lyrical value is also good but the singing of all the six songs by Ramprasad in a monotonous style is the bottleneck of this album. Ramprasad the singer of Mudal Kunigal Kere, song should have thought again before taking this risk.
There are talented young singers in Karnataka who are not very expensive too. The whole hard work put in by music director is wasted with the monotony. The female singers choice is good but instead of Kavitha Krishnamurthy and Shreya Goshal the local talents could have been given a chance. Kannadigas come from USA to make a Kannada film. They have to as for as possible pick the local talents, it because they are coming back to roots.
Yee Bhoomi Aanege, explains the rich environmental strength of Malnad region in Karnataka. The second song Johnu Oh Jahnu, top female back singer Manjula Gururaj joins. This is shot in beautiful places of United States of America. Mylarilinga, a chasing and peppy song shot in Malnad region has Master Kishen voice. Love Moodinalli., accompanied by Kavitha Krishnamurthy is melodious. Kannada Makkalella Ondagi, is a short song set inside the four walls.
This is the remix of veteran music director G.K.Venkatesh scoring. The last song in the audio album Fast Time Hingaaythu. Accompanied by Shreya Goshal is romantic tune.
