Let’s admit it, we all lose our cool sometimes. That neighbour kid who keeps making faces at you, let’s shushh and not remember when you gave him a good old spank. But seriously speaking, we don’t expect these kind of behaviours from ‘soft’ people like say monks, church fathers, priests etc they are the embodiment of peace.
 
But this shocking news is about a 64 year old monk who put all those years of meditation to waste and got physically violent with a kid. The kid who was nine years old died after he was battered by the monk who is identified as Suphachai Suthiano. And why was the kid battered? Because he disrupted a ceremony during the prayer session. 

Reportedly the Buddhist monk had also bashed the young kid’s head onto the pillars resulting in a coma. The incident sure comes off as shocking for the people of Thailand. The criminal monk has been booked with ‘assault resulting in death’. 

After the autopsy of the boy was done, his body was taken by his relatives. So now we may have to add yet another placards in temples, beware of monks.
