Monica goes the Pooja way

After Pooja, who made a mark for herself in Sinhala film industry, it is now the turn of ‘Azhagi’ girl Monica to venture to do a Sinhala film.

The young actress, who took to glamour with ‘Silandhi’, has been cast to act in a Sinhala film titled ‘Rosa Kele’. The shooting for the movie would commence soon.

Meanwhile, the young girl is getting enough offers in her kitty and has accepted to be part of a couple of Tamil movies, directed by newcomers.

46 Films in fray

For the Karnataka state film awards for 2007-2008 there are 46 films in the contest. As many as 17 Kannada films in it have not been released and remake films like 'E Bandhana, Sundari Ganda Sadanda, Mr Garagara, Satyavan Savitri and hotchpotch 'Bindhaas' films are dare enough to enter the Karnataka sate awards. There is absolutely no provision for remake films in the state awards.
