Monica Dogra, the Shaa'ir+Func fame (electro rock duo), who debuted in 'Dhobi Ghat' will be seen using both her acting and singing skills in the Pooja Bhatt & Bhushan Kumar produced film 'Love Affair' directed by Soni Razdan. The film written by Anvita Dutt will see Monica in a never seen before role. Pooja and Bhushan chorus: "Monica has some special talents and she will showcase one of it when we use her musical skills in the film and the other as she plays the role of Kiki, the fiercely independent, firebrand sister of Arjun Rampal." Love Affair is a story of love, passion and betrayal set in the 50's in independent India with a huge ensemble cast now consisting of lead actors Arjun Rampal, Kalki Koechlin and Gulshan Devaiah apart from Akshay Anand, Mayank Anand, Diandra Soares and Karishma Kotak.
Interestingly Pooja Bhatt and Monica Dogra got along like a house on fire at their first meeting itself. Monica so loved the concept of LOVE AFFAIR that she said a YES instantly. Reading the script was a mere formality for her.
The film will mount the floors in the summer of 2015.
