The Tamil film actress of ‘A Aa E Ee’ and ‘Azhagi’ Monica the former child actress Monica who looks similar to top national award actress Meera Jasmine is appearing in a Kannada film ‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’ that went on the floor on Thursday morning near Bidadi.

Monica is appearing as heroine to hat trick hero Shivarajakumar while Meera Jasmine who had already appeared in a few Kannada films earlier is playing sister to Shivarajakumar. Meera Jasmine and Monica together acted in Tamil film ‘Sandai Kozhi’ and these two Mollywood girls are again together in a Kannada film.

Monica says there is tough competition to heroines today and roles should be different she opines. She has the intention of applying black makeup for her body to a role in future. The roles we play should be close to the hearts of people and as for as possible it should be real life ones she says putting back her ‘Twin Jade’ (plaited hair).

I came to cinema accidentally from ‘Avasara Police’ for which I got Tamil Nadu state child actress award and continuing today as heroine even after completing 12th examinations says pretty Monica.

In my first Kannada film ‘Devaru Kotta Thangi’ I am working with two legends Shivarajakumar and Saiprakash.
