The debut director Arya Mahesh was in perfect mood to put out his feelings, struggle and making of the film Kolara` at the pre release meet.

When the film was first discussed and title was kept as Kolara`, mother of rowdy Thangam was contacted. Rs.25 lakh was demanded for making this subject. We have balance of Rs.1.5 lakhs admits director Arya Mahesh. Although it took three years to come on screen, 7th July is a big day for me in life he says. When the first contact was made with Thangam mother she declined to give permission. The friends of Thangam living today helped me and I also hail from Mulabagal was bit helpful. The notorious and brutal look which actor Yogish donned deserves compliments. He did not cut his hair for more than a year. We wanted to more important persons to suit the cop roles. The roles of Shivakumar and Kushalappa in real life were important characters. Shivakumar the current ACP in Devanahalli is played by Aditya Menon. The Farmers leader Kodihalli Chandrasekhar who has a soft cop role was convinced with great difficulty remembers Arya Mahesh.Arya Mahesh special thanks to Aditya Menon was because in the dust, carrying Yogish behind him and three cameras fitted to him was an impeccable cooperation he says.Arya Mahesh has also followed the deleted version by censor to you tube. That is a new system found in other languages. How objectionable it is? The censor objected scenes played in You Tube are dangerous development.
