The makers of Spanish crime drama TV series Money Heist have released a 30 second teaser clip of the upcoming season of the show, announcing that the official trailer of the fifth and final season of Money Heist will be out on August 2.
The intriguing teaser shows The Professor chained and in the hands of inspector Alicia Sierra. A teaser that was earlier released by Netflix revealed that the 5th season of Money Heist will be streaming in 2 parts. While the first part will premiere on September 3, the second part will be released on December 3 this year.
Regarding the final season of the show, Money Heist's creator Alex Pina had said, "When we began to write Part 5 in the midst of the pandemic, we felt that we had to change what was expected from the ten-episode season and used every tool we could to create the sensation of a season finale or series finale in the first volume itself."
He had added, "We decided to work in an extremely aggressive genre, putting The Gang on the ropes. In volume 2, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure."
The leading cast members of Money Heist will reprise their original roles in season 5. The list includes Álvaro Morte (Sergio Marquina/The Professor)/Salvador "Salva" Martín), Úrsula Corberó (Silene Oliveira/Tokyo), Itziar Ituño (Raquel Murillo/Lisbon), Jaime Lorente (Ricardo/Daniel Ramos/Denver), and Miguel Herrán (Aníbal Cortés/Rio).
