Monal Gujjar breaking a Tolly stereotype in Guj

  • IndiaGlitz, [Thursday,March 15 2012]

Monal Gujjar makes Tollywood proud and how! The former Miss Gujarath till recently believed that actors in Southern films wear gagra chowlis (if they are girls) and dhotis (if they are boys)! This is what people used to tell her in Ahmedabad. After seeing the truth for herself, the actress is enlightened. So, after acting in Vennela 1 1/2, the actress took upon herself to educate her fellowmen about the trendiness that our films have become synonymous for. This is exactly why we should thank the chic girl!

The actress is yet to see her first film release, but no sooner did stills from Vennela 1 1/2 were released than did she bag a film. (It is good, albeit a Varun Sandesh film).

Monal looks every bit a mix of homely looks and voluptuousness. Will she hold her sway? Wait and watch.
