Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas injured himself on the set of 'Kala' earlier in the week. On Wednesday, reports have emerged that he has been admitted to a private hospital in Kochi.

It's learned that Tovino complained of stomach pain all of a sudden early in the day. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors performed tests and concluded he has had internal bleeding. Despite the complication, Tovino's condition is NOT critical.

Reports say that the young actor will be kept under observation in ICU for the next 24 hours.

The accident took place on the set of the film during an action sequence. It seems he didn't suffer much pain in the immediate aftermath of the mishap. The internal injury started paining him after a considerable amount of time.
