Mollywood celebs pray for victims of plane crash and landslide

It was indeed a black Friday for the people of Kerala after two tragedies took place in the state. After a massive landslide in Idukki district on Friday morning, at night 7.40 pm, an Air India Express flight from Dubai carrying 190 passengers crashed at the Karipur International Airport upon landing.

Like netizens, celebs too expressed their shock and grief over the tragedies on social media. From Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj, Nivin Pauly to Rajisha Vijayan, and Aishwarya Lakshmi, several celebs took to their social media handle to share helpline numbers and prayers for the safety of the passengers and the crew.

These are unlikely times, Munnar landslide yesterday & today karipur plane crash. Remembering everyone who lost their lives in the recent tragedies. We as a community need to stand together forgetting all the dirty politics and polarisations that are happening around us. Let’s try to stay hopeful, let’s be there for each other. It’s been a very very sad day for Kerala. And as the fortunate amongst us, sit in the comfort of our homes, waiting or the world to return to how we knew it, I cannot shake off the feeling that for so many others, all hopes of a happy tomorrow ended today. RIP sir. After hearing a lot of discussions it’s clear that it was your timely action that saved this crash to an extent. Salute to Captain Deepak Vasant Sathe who was an highly experienced pilot and proud awardee of the Indian President's Medal. Wing commander DV Sathe was an experimental test pilot in the IAF before he joined Air India. He was a Decorated officer and had won Sword of Honour. Thank you for your service to the Indian airforce. Deepest condolences to the family. ????
