Mohit Ahlawat - The best part about 'Shiva'

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,September 18 2006]

After 'James', Ram Gopal Verma has returned with his lead pair of Mohit Ahlawat and Nisha Kothari in 'Shiva' last Friday.

Sadly, 'Shiva' has opened to terrible reviews all over with hardly any good word floating about the film. The hackneyed plot is said to be the reason behind the film's final outcome. RGV's direction too pales in comparison with his earlier work.

Amongst all this chaos the man who still can consider his head above water is Mohit Ahlawat who has done reasonably well to make his presence felt. When RGV claims that the guy has a superb screen presence, he is completely right since that is amply demonstrated in 'Shiva'. As a no-nonsense cop who can bash up 10 goons single handedly, he looks quite convincing and actually appears to be someone with whom one may choose not to mess around.

Even in the emoting department, he seems to be made for the action flicks and a little more tuning and exposure should increase his stint in Bollywood. Yes, the lad is promising and does exude hopes!
