Director Rohit Jugaraj may not have succeeded in bringing to fore the true potential of Mohit Ahlawat in 'James' but Ram Gopal Verma is all set to bring the best out of his protege as their 'Shiva' gets ready for release.

Though RGV had earlier stated that 'Shiva' would be his version of 'James', off late everyone seems to be refraining from commenting so and are in fact projecting the film as an altogether different subject. This seems true too since in 'Shiva', Mohit Ahlawat plays the role of a righteous cop who just wants to perform his duty in face of all adversities. One look at the promos and the magical touch of RGV is pretty apparent in every single frame of the flick. Ahlawat makes a rocking screen presence as he creates a stunning impact with varied range of expressions, especially in the close-ups.

Nisha Kothari, the lead actress of 'James', is roped in for 'Shiva' too where she plays a journalist and Ahlawat's love interest. Shereveer Vakil, who made quite a deadly impact as a don/politician’s brother returns to scare again with his villainy.
