'Jodhaa Akbar' filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker revisited the location where he had once filmed the movie 'Lagaan' in Bhuj. Sources say that, the movie 'Mohenjo Daro' had to be recreated into a pre-historical world, so Ashutosh build the magnum opus world of Mohenjo Daro` there. When the team visited the location, they were surprised to notice that it was the same place where Lagaan's` climax was shot.

On confirming the news, producer Sunita Gowariker said, "When we went to Bhuj to see the location, it's uncanny that the same land which was used for Lagaan` is what suited our requirement and we decided to mount our set for the 'Mohenjo Daro' city there. But what amazed me is that the platform made for the cricket pavilion in Lagaan` was still standing on that land. 15 years later no one had removed it and that's something that brought a smile to Ashutosh's face and made him reminisce about his 'Lagaan' days."

This movie 'Mohenjo Daro', is an action romantic film set in the pre historic era and it features Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in the lead. It is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sunita Gowariker which will hit theatres on August 12.
