'Mohenjo Daro' earns Rs.9 Crore on Day 1

Hrithik Roshan-starrer film 'Mohenjo Daro' minted close to Rs 9 crore on its opening day in India, its makers said. The epic adventure-romance collected Rs 8.87 crore on Friday in India, a statement from the makers said.

'Mohenjo Daro' minted over $1 million in overseas box office.

On the Gulf front, the Ashutosh Gowariker directorial has incurred $472,000, while in North America, the film is estimated to close at $250,000 (currently at $207,000 with 46 screens yet to report).

'Mohenjo Daro' written, produced and directed by Gowariker, is Hrithik's second collaboration with the filmmaker after the 2008 film "Jodhaa Akbar". The film also stars Pooja Hegde and Kabir Bedi.
