Mohanlal-Trisha movie 'Ram' to resume!

The shoot of Mohanlal-Trisha starrer upcoming movie Ram directed by Jeethu Joseph came to a halt after the lockdown was declared. While major portions of the film have been already canned in Kerala, a few portions that are to be filmed abroad have been stalled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Now, after many months of waiting, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph decided to resume the shoot of Ram by February 2021, by which the deadly disease is expected to be under control.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Mohanlal plays the titular role of 'Ram' which marks his second collaboration with the director after the superhit 'Drishyam'. Trisha plays the female lead. The gorgeous actress plays the role of a doctor named Vineetha. It is to be noted that, 'Ram' is her second Malayalam movie after 'Hey Jude' (2019), directed by Shyama Prasad.
'Ram' also features Indrajith, Durga Krishna, Leona Lishoy and Adil Hussain in important roles.Satheesh Kurup is the DOP and debutant Vishnu Shyam will be handling the music department. VS Vinayak is the editor. Touted to be a thriller, the movie is made of a whopping budget and will be shot in various countries including Egypt, London and Istanbul apart from Kerala.
Director Jeethu Joseph is known for directing Malayalam hits like 'Drishyam', 'My Boss', 'Aadhi', 'Memories' etc and Tamil movies like Kamal Haasan starrer 'Papanasam' and the recently released Karthi - Jyothika starrer 'Thambi'.
On the other hand, Jeethu Joseph-Mohanlal combo is currently busy shooting for their Drishyam sequel in Thodupuzha. The shoot is progressing following the coronavirus protocols.
