Mohanlal's offer rejected

The Government of Kerala has refused to take back the payment offered to Mohanlal for the programme he performed for the National Games. The actor had been hurt and disappointed about the kind of response that the show generated and had made the decision to give back the amount given to him.
Chief Minister Oomen Chandy revealed his decision in the Legislative Assembly that the government was fully satisfied with his performance and that under no circumstance would they take back the money. However Mohanlal is adamant about handing back the money and it is heard he will send a cheque to the government with the amount and also pay the participants of his programme from his account.
