Director VA Shrikumar who is currently busy shooting his directorial debut 'Odiyan' starrin Mohanlal in the lead role, took to his Facebook handle to announce the latest addition to the stellar cast! Much to the surprise of the audience, it is a champion goat named - Madurai Machadayan. 

The director posted a pic of what seemed like a Nellore goat breed, with the caption, "Madurai Machadayan - the champion goat who joined the team Odiyan last day -- odiyan nu aadavanum pattumo (sic)." As reported earlier, Mohanlal plays ‘half-man, half-beast’ in the upcoming venture. 

Mohanlal appears as the last surviving member of a tribal community called Odiyan in Kerala. Mohanlal will be seen in the role of Manikyan, a man who is mastered in Odividya and will be featured in the age of 30 to 65 in multiple looks. Manju Warrier plays the female lead along with Prakash Raj and Sathyaraj essaying important roles.
