Mohanlal's next Tamil film will be a remake

After the stupendous success of Jilla, his recent Tamil film with Vijay, Mohanlal has reportedly decided to star at least in one Tamil film a year. Sources close to the Malayalam superstar say that the Drishyam actor, may start acting in another Tamil film this year and that will be the remake of the famous bollywood film Ishqiya.

Moahanlal's Next Tamil Film

If all things go as expected, Mohan Lal will reprise the role played by Naseeruddin Shah in the original. Arya will replace Arshad warsi’s role whil Lakshmi Rai will replace Vidya Balan in the role of an young widow.

Talks with the respective actors are in the initial stage and once they get finalized, the project will be announced officially.
