Mohanlal's mass avatar in 'Aaraattu' First Look poster wins the internet

On Friday, the makers of Mohanlal's upcoming movie with B Unnikrishnan unveiled the first look poster of the flick. Released through Mohanlal's social media page, the poster feature the actor in a mass traditional avatar sitting on a regal chair. Fans celebrate the poster as they say that the poster reminds them of his look in the yesteryear superhits that had village backdrop.
Made on a budget of rupees 18 Crore, Aaraattu is arguably one of the bigger films to go on floors in Mollywood during the pandemic. The film, which is currently being shot in Palakkad amid strict Covid-19 restrictions, has Mohanlal playing the character of Neyyattinkara Gopan.
Scripted by Pulimurugan and Madhuraraja scribe Udayakrishna, the movie star Kollywood diva Shraddha Srinath in the female lead. The movie is aiming at a 2021 Onam release.
