As reported earlier, the shoot of Mohanlal's much-awaited sequel 'Drishyam 2' began on September 21. While the audience have been eagerly waiting to see the superstar's look in the sequel, Mohanlal himself has shared a picture from the set on Friday.

The actor who joined the shoot from September 26, took to his social media handle to share a picture with the team. Donning a brown shirt and white mundu, the actor looks as young as he was in the prequel Drishyam, that was released 7 years ago!

“Joined at the sets of #Drishyam2 by adhering to all safety protocols set for Covid 19. #Drishyam,” Mohanlal tweeted. Mohanlal will be reprising Georgekutty in the movie. Actress Meena, who has been a part of the prequel has signed for the movie. The actress too is expected to join the shoot soon.

Actress Asha sharath who plays an important role in the movie had already started shooting for the movie. Asha had posted on his social media page, “Finally, here we are!!! With the official Covid negative reports to start our most awaiting journey in Drishyam 2… I am so happy and excited to be back as ‘IG Geetha Prabhakar’, one of the best characters in my career… We all need all your support and prayers.”

Currently, indoor sequences of the movie are being shot in Kochi. The team will next move to Thodupuzha to film the rest of the movie that will have Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Murali Gopy, Siddique and Sai Kumar in important roles. Stay tuned!
