Wow! Mohanlal-Jeethu Josephs Drishyam 3 on the cards

Jeethu Joseph's Drishyam 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Mohanlal-starrer Drishyam (2013), was released on February 19th through the popular OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. As the sequel has opened to amazing responses from celebs, audience and critics alike, we have got a piece of exciting news for all Drishyam fans out there!

The movie's producer Antony had indeed treated his fans with one of the happiest news.In an interview with Manorama online, the movie's producer Antony Perumbavoor, who also played a role in the movie, revealed that Drishyam 3 is likely to be on cards. He said that Jeethu Joseph has Drishyam 3 in mind and that he would be very happy if it materializes.

"I can say that Drishyam 3 is in Jeethu's mind. I understood from his conversations that he is contemplating it. I really hope that it happens. In fact, Lal sir and Jeethu have been speaking about it. All of us wish for Drishyam 3," said Antony Perumbavoor in the interview. He further said that Drishyam 2 will be remade in many other languages too.

He also revealed his disappointment on the movie being not released in theatres. However, Antony has his next big release in theatres which is the much-awaited magnum opus Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie has a stellar cast including Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, Pranav, Arjun, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Keerthi Suresh, etc. Barroz, Empuran and the movie made for AMMA are the other future projects from Antony's banner of Ashirvaad Cinemas.
