Few weeks before, IndiaGlitz had a report about the new project of the star director Laljose, which has Mohanlal in the lead. This is the first time Mohanlal is accepting a project with Laljose, who had created some of the biggest hits in Malayalam like 'Meesa Madhavan' and 'Classmates'.

Young star Prithviraj will also team up with super star Mohanlal for 'Cousins'. Prithvi, will be playing a pivotal role of the dearest 'Cousins', of Mohanlal.

This is the first time Prithviraj is being approached for any film that has big stars in the cast. He never had appeared with any of the bigger stars of Malayalam like Mammootty or Suresh Gopi, earlier.

'Cousins' produced by Gopan in the banner of Bhagyachithra productions, will come to floor by the august of 2008.The film will have three heroines, of which at least one will be a debutante. The film is planned as the Christmas release for the next year.
